Travel Medicine Consultation
Our travel medicine consultation is conducted by a doctor specializing in travel and tropical medicine, with expertise in infectious diseases. To provide tailored recommendations, we require details about your medical history, current treatments, past illnesses, and full vaccination record. Please bring all relevant vaccination documents with you. The consultation typically lasts 30 minutes.
Objectives of Travel Medicine
Travel medicine primarily aims to prevent infectious diseases during short or extended trips—whether for tourism, business, or family visits—especially in regions where medical services may be limited.
A key component includes international vaccinations and malaria prevention, as well as expert advice tailored to your age, travel itinerary, and activities.
Pre-Travel Consultations and Vaccinations
- FOPH-Certified Yellow Fever Vaccination Center: We are authorized to administer the yellow fever vaccine, which is required for entry into certain African and South American countries.
- Guidance on Mandatory and Recommended Vaccinations: We advise on compulsory and recommended vaccines, including tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, pneumococcus, seasonal flu, and tick-borne encephalitis.
- Destination-Specific Vaccinations: Based on your destination, trip duration, and activities, we offer vaccines for hepatitis A, ACWY meningitis, typhoid fever, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, and other region-specific diseases.

Payment and Insurance Coverage
All travel consultations and vaccinations must be paid by credit card at the time of your appointment. These services are generally not covered by basic health insurance, though some supplementary plans may offer partial reimbursement.
For business travelers, your employer may cover these costs. It is the patient’s responsibility to check reimbursement policies or use a corporate credit card.
